I’m Kaila. A California girl that’s now found herself living in the design capital of Europe, Copenhagen. When I moved I wanted to create a creative outlet for myself and have a place to share my stories and observations while I embarked on what was supposed to be a 1-year gap year after college graduation. Now fast forward five years (Seriously, how has it been that long) — I finally created that space in the form of an Expat Lifestyle blog.
The name Swanky + Bold is symbolic of a lifestyle that encompasses being fashionable, daring, and strong.
