Spicy Watermelon Margaritas

A refreshing margarita, with a bit of a kick. Cinco de Mayo always reminds me of tacos and margaritas, so while it’s not really a celebrated holiday in Copenhagen I knew I needed to make my husband and I some tacos and margs for the occasion. The key to this cocktail is a really juicy watermelon.

Insider Tips to a Good Watermelon:
1. A yellow spot — watermelons develop a splotch where they rest on the ground, when this splotch turns a creamy yellow, you know you have a ripe watermelon.

2. Sounds hollow — give it a knock and if it produces a deep hollow sound, this is a good sign that it’s a juicy melon.

3. Feels heavy — no matter the size, it should feel heavy for its size.
